PERSONALITY:
Yura-sama is stupid. Immensly idiotic, if you desire to go into detail. He knows nothing about medicine except that Advil works on headaches and Pepto Bismol relieves you of stomach pains, but obtained a fake medical license because being a doctor fits in with his goal of being ambitious. He does not care for blood or baby vomit, or surgery, and more importantly, doesn’t really want to be responsible for somebody’s life, and thus decided to became a fake psychiatrist rather than some other form of doctor people depended on for their physical health.

He’s dramatic, eccentric and overly friendly, and will act as more of a babysitter (or a bad influence, depending on who he’s talking to) than a doctor. He wears fake glasses to make himself look smarter, even though the stupid grin that’s constantly on his face will always contradict any look of intelligence he tries to achieve, along with his incompetence in the medical profession. On a more positive side, he isn’t at 304 Asylum to rape, fuck, maim, corrupt, drug, perform surgery on or otherwise destroy the patients.

HISTORY:
Yura-sama had a normal childhood. Terribly boring, in fact, which may be another reason for wanting to work with all these people who’d had their lives utterly destroyed by the age of ten. His parents had a great deal of money, and thus sent him to a private school, where all of his friends were much smarter than him. They talked endlessly of becoming brain surgeons, pediatricians, cardiologists, gynecologists- any kind of doctor you can think of, which planted the unfortunate idea in Yura-sama’s head that he should become one as well. His grades were mediocre, as were his attempts at any kind of art. The only thing he excelled in was playing soccer, which he quit upon reaching high school, possibly because being good at something was tarnishing his image.

He paid his way into a decent university & medical school, where he managed to complete several years of schooling before paying a large sum of cash for his psychiatric degree and dropping out. He managed to be fired three times for incompetence before an unknown source told him that most of the doctors at this asylum were even more incompetent than he was, and thus, he decided to come here instead. ♥
